2025 Red Collar Recap

2025 Red Collar Recap

2025 was an unforgettable time for the individuals, team, partners, brands and everyone associated with Red Collar. What began as a humble idea and a good feeling in 2024, came to life in January of this year when we debuted our "Captain's Logo," that set the tone for the brands look and identity for the future. After some delays, our very first original apparel release the "Carolina Collection" arrived in May 2025 and was debuted at the Charleston Night Market and Sealand Sports where it remains today. What began as a "what exactly are we doing?" initial design process, quickly turned into a refinement of each detail as time and passion increased; obsessing over materials, patterns, sizing, construction, colors and and any and all decisions we could try to perfect to the best of our ability.

After watching the success and intrigue our initial brand pieces garnered with each customer who engaged with us, we decided to bring along more brands that aligned with our vision and brand identity. Good Days New York became the first official brand under the Red Collar umbrella and we couldn't have been more blessed to work with such an amazing and unique brand and creator. After conversations with different labels and like minded companies, Critical Slide Society and Duvin Design became the second and third brands to join the Red Collar family. With our expanding catalogue and curated looks for our little island brand on Sullivan's Island, we couldn't be more confident heading into 2026 and are so excited to share more amazing products and drops to all of our customers.

Looking back on 2025, we want to thank each and every person who not only made a purchase but engaged with our brand in any way, even just snagging a free sticker, following our socials or just saying "Hi.". Without you, we simply wouldn't exist, and all these cool clothes and friendly conversations would never have happened in the first place. For that we say thank you, and we hope to see you again soon.

One of the most memorable customer interactions and just in general events that we had throughout the year was meeting Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his wife Amelia. Unbeknownst to us at the time, Dale was walking around the shop checking out some various products and browsing some Red Collar apparel when all of a sudden a lightbulb went off and we realized the man, the myth, the legend was standing right in front of us. It was a surreal moment and one that we'll never forget, it was so nice meeting you Dale and Amelia!

As we look ahead to 2026, the mission remains the same. Deliver comfortable, stylish, curated island looks and provide a state of chill for all our shoppers. We hope to grow and expand our offerings and catalogue to the public as time allows, however it isn't at the forefront of what we do. Being present in one of the homiest islands on the east coast and serving locals and travelers alike is totally enough for us and keeps our cup filled to the brim.
